This remodel / addition replaced dark, disjointed rooms with inspirational spaces in a clear, bright organization.
The owners are avid gardeners, and the new rear entry to the house celebrates this interest. The pathway curves gracefully through the garden and across a delicate bridge, moving over a fish pond with exotic plantings.
The kitchen geometry is skewed to receive the entry axis and to capture views of the terrace and pond. Rythmic window and skylight combinations bathe the "Morning Room" in light during the early hours.
A generous den works with the other new spaces to accommodate an extensive series of collectibles in organized yet informal displays.
